In Adrian Marthaler’s staging, the entire Hangar-7 at Salzburg Airport forms the backdrop for an extraordinary opera performance. The musical direction of the renowned Camerata Salzburg and the Salzburg Bach Choir is taken over by one of the best Mozart connoisseurs: the conductor Hans Graf. The high-calibre soloist ensemble, including Desirée Rancatore (Konstanze), Javier Camarena (Belmonte), Kurt Rydl (Osmin) and the acclaimed Austrian actor Tobias Moretti, guarantees artistic enjoyment. This novel implementation especially for the television audience will delight viewers who have not yet found access to the opera.
