Akina appeared on NHK’s Songs Special about a week after her highly anticipated Kouhaku Utagassen appearance at the year end of 2014.

She sang a few songs from her upcoming cover album My Eggs Benedict. Talked about her recent life in America. We went behind the scenes and saw how anxious she was about her Red & White performance of “Rojo – Tierra -” and she also mentioned working on a new original album which she was very pleased with, giving fans something to look forward to.
