Singer-songwriter and seiyuu Naozumi Takahashi’s 11th live DVD, featuring complete footage of his [12] Tour final, held at Zepp Tokyo on December 7, 2008.

If there was a ‘most energetic’ concert contest between his many, many lives this would rank top five. If memory serves, this is (or was at the time) the largest venue he had performed at at the time, and there’s a good vibe that’s palpable from both the crowd and Nao here. Barring a few nice acoustic/slower songs towards the beginning, this show slants heavily toward up-tempo songs, and frankly, it thrives there – special mention to the opening four song salvo for setting the tone, and especially to the final pre-encore stretch of “Te no Hira”~Trim-Tab~LOVE SHAKER for their strong sense of momentum.

My personal favorite individual song is this slinky little arrangement of “Chameleon”, though. Can’t help but think this is what it should’ve always sounded like, and it has some great synergy with the discotheque-ready “butterfly” that follows it.

Misc trivia: “Aruite Kaerou” and “Time Capsule” had yet to be released at the the time this concert was held.
